Gyms have many ways of using Xcel. Do you know what level, or how much experience does your child have?

At our gym, we use Xcel in place of lower levels 1 through 5. Then, some girls move to DP L6 and some stay in Xcel. At some gyms, there are dual tracks with Xcel and DP 1-10. Some gyms only have Xcel.

Our girls start at Xcel Silver but there is a lower level called Bronze. I don't know much about Bronze requirements. The girls I've seen who don't make the cut for Silver typically can't do a pullover on bars and/or a backwards rolls with straight arms on floor (there is a more official name for this but I can't think of it). They also look at things like handstands form, cartwheel form, and leaps.
