Remember... The OP said that it wasn't an issue with the parents watching practice. It's an issue with the parents bad mouthing the gym. "I feel offended because we are not one of those big gyms with a large well known team." I don't understand. You're offended because you are at a gym that doesn't have a large team and they are not well-known? How does that offend you? That makes no sense.- gymmom-in-training

Parents Why are some parents never satisfied?
Yeah, I've listened to parents talk about how their gymnast did at a meet and it seems that some parents will never be happy. But that is the nature of this sport. It's all about being perfect. It's hard to be positive when it is all about the deductions.- gymmom-in-training

Wow! Seems like something seriously wrong was going on in that viewing area! They must have said some pretty bad things to have all the team parents be not allowed to be at the practices any more.
