Yes! That was part of our frustration. She had skills already that kids were still working on in the next level up (She has been able to do handstands, pullovers, backhip circles, kickovers so on without a spot for a while). She may just have not felt comfortable when we first moved and gottten...
I love all of the suggestions and thank you for the positive approaches! We probably will add swimming into her week might burn some energy, give her another activity and make her stronger!

I have a soon to be 5 year old who has been doing gymnastics since she was 3. Originally we did not take it too seriously and just used it as exercise because we were already at the gym for her big sister. She quickly progressed out of the tots classes and picks up skills with ease...
