as an educator, your child at that age should not have much homework, sorry she is having so much! I haven’t had to deal with this yet, my dd is level 4 at 10.5 hrs a week and is in 4th grade. She rarely has homework and it’s usually something she easily gets done before practice.

Sorry i find this very rude and condescending. Couple of been a much simpler answer. I do not think my child will go to the olympics, I never said anything about olympics, I said college. I am fully aware of the very small percentage that actually get recruited to college, I know the odds are...
Is it possible to train at a gym that hasn’t really had any athletes from it end up being recruited by a D1 and your child still have a chance?? I was recently talking to my daughter’s mentor who asked if I have considered a well known gym that is known for coaching some great D1 athletes. The...
I spent so much in privates last year and yes they helped, but honestly feel for the cost of just the normal practices they should be progressing better. I know i will always need some privates for her for vault but the other areas she should be able to succeed in with just good coaching.

So one of the gyms closed and this gym did absorb most of theirs! We are in an area with probably some of the best cost of living and job availability in California. Yeah i plan to take her to the team evaluations at the other gym and check it out, my cousin’s daughter is there on their xcel...

Curious what other gym programs look like for DP level 3. What is the size of gymnasts to coach ratio, how many hours a day/week do they train?
Is there issues with gymnasts not getting corrections and doing stations without any monitoring?
My daughter is 8, and is training for DP level 3. She is really struggling with the backhand spring. It doesn’t seem like they practice enough during her regular practices and consistent strength training. Working with her at home on an air track, she collapses every time either both arms and...
