The most common is probably a Tsuk for levels 6/7, but when those gymnasts get to level eight they will usually switch to a yurchenko because it’s easier to flip and progress for the upper levels.
Thank you so much! I did not know it was not a decution, but my coaches are little bit old school, and might not want my bra strap visible, so the clear bra straps are a really good idea!
Hi everyone! As optionals meet season approaches, (or for some people it has already gotten started) How do you not make your bra show in leos that have mesh sleeves? I have a skin color bra, but it still shows, and I’ve tried black, but that is very noticable. Thanks.
Thank you. I can do a back handspring on the high beam just fine. I can do the series on the line fine. I can do it on the lazer beam. It is just when I put it on anything higher then a floor beam, I start balking, stopping, not going for it, (etc.) I will see what I can do regarding other...
Thank you so much. I will definitely check the link you posted out. I’ve always been a 38 or higher gymnast, and my coaches really like me, but they have really high standards for me. It is a little bit hard to watch everyone have their skills, when I can’t do a series with mats on a floor beam...
Hi there! I’m a level seven gymnast having a huge mental block on my handstand back- handspring series on beam. I’ve had it competition ready at the end of August, but for the past two months, I’ve been blocking. At first, it wasn’t so bad. I was able to do it on high- medium beams, but it has...

Most level 8 gymnasts usually do 3 passes I’ve noticed in their routines. Is there a specific reason for this besides to prep for level 9? Is there anyway you can have a level 8 routine with 2 passes, 10.0 SV, and no composition deductions? TIA!
I am a level 6 USAG gymnast. I have been scoring in a 8.5-8.8 range. My state meet is soon and I really want to do well. I have been put aside quite a bit at my gym and don’t even know what I’m doing wrong.. Is there any tips anyone can give me? Also for the roundoff entry, do you snap your legs...
Hi. For USAG Level 6 beam I do a back-walkover back walkover series. I have heard there is a rule that you cannot repeat a skill more than 3 times. So if I don’t go for it on the first time, do I have to change my series to a handstand back walkover to avoid that deduction? Also how much of a...
