    Looks like you could lean your shoulders over the bar more, drive your heels up and allow your hips to rise.

    Parents How many meets does your gymnastic do a year? What level are they?

    Level 7, goes to 7 regular meets. Then state and regionals. Several of the regular meets are very small though.

    I’ve been here for a little bit but decided I’d share my path. Parent tot- 1 1/2-3 yo Preschool- 3-5 yo Rec- 6-7 Preteam- 8-9 Level 3 (year 1)- 9 (Covid so didn’t compete) Level 3 (year 2)- 10 Level 4- 11 Level 5- 12 Level 6 (year 1)-13 Level 6 (year 2)- 14 Level 7- 15 (this year)

    It depends, I think going from level 3-5 to level 6/7 makes it easier to do front handspring vaults. But gymnasts who struggled with it or came from xcel might have an easier time with tsuks.     Most commonly probably tsuk. IMO easiest is handspring or tsuk.

    Gymnasts Wristband color preferences

    This is the most random question but I wanted to know what everyone’s wristband color preference was? I have had white, navy and black and not sure which I liked most. Any thoughts?

    Coaches Back handspring hand placement on balance beam

    Hmmmm I guess that makes sense but it seems to work fine for me. So I think either works but non dominant is probably better. Doing what’s natural and comfortable is best!

    I put my dominant hand in front. I would think whatever hand placement feels most comfortable to the gymnast is what should be used in the BHS. I almost have my BHS on high beam so hope this helps!

    Im training level 8 and know what I have to get on all the events but floor. Do you need 2 or 3 tumbling passes? How many A’s and B’s? Is a 1 1/2 and a switch leap pass enough for the main dance elements? Thank you!
