My question is what about areas that don't have states/regionals? I'm not confident that some of the qualifying meets will happen.

My daughter's favorites consistently are Snowflake and KBee. She is tall with a long torso and some brands just don't fit her right.

So Cal has canceled the fall compulsory season and is doing a spring season instead. It'll be a busy season with compulsory, optionals and xcel

A slight variation - my 8 year old daughter competed Xcel bronze last season and decided to switch to JO. She was put in level 3 initially and that lasted all of one practice before the head coach approached me and said he was moving her up to level 4. It was absolutely the right move for her...

Back to add that our gym does have some history of moving from Xcel to JO but usually the higher levels. Our head coach took over the program just last sason and has mentioned using Xcel bronze as an entry to competition and getting their feet wet as well as for the girls too young to compete JO.
