Share your child's victories (and defeats)!
For the 2022-2023 season we are going to do the "Meet Report" threads a bit differently. We are only going to do two of them for the entire season. One in the WAG (women's) group and one in the MAG (men's) group. These threads will continue all...

Now that we have "Member Only" groups again... we are going to start creating weekly "Meet Report" threads in the WAG & MAG parent groups for you to share all the progress (or tough meets) of your kids.
How do I join the parent groups?

Yesterday was USAIGC States for Puma Jr. It was the first meet (besides two in house meets that were sanctioned) she‘s competed in almost 18 months. She broke her ankle in January 2020, then her wrist in December 2020, and that whole pandemic thing lol. Her main level, USAIGC Silver (L6/7ish)...
Okay so DD's first meet was last night and I was a nervous wreck. She was really excited nervous for handstand on beam. I have to say I was impressed by her scores all 9s! She didn't forget any routines, and competed a vault by herself for the first time. Beam was successful here are her scores...
Alrighty ;)
D had a decent meet last night. He did 3 events. Started on Pbars..not his best 10.8. Had a really interesting/nasty fall, but it was funny at the same time. His next event was floor. Beautiful! Great routine 13.2 and 5th place!! Finally was pommel. Again, way better and...
So...4 weeks after a fracture she did bars and beam. First Level 10 Meet without a fall!!!!! First level 10 meet with all 9's LOL only two events but we will take it!!!
Sophia made it through with modified routines...she had pain in her big toe joint after hitting it about a week ago so her routines were modified to minimize impact and compensate for lack of power. All in all, lots to improve on but now just hoping her foot calms down so she can make it...
Anyone getting sick of these yet ;)
D had a meet today, and was going up against "the big gym" in our area, as well as the kid in his age group that is undefeated this season (and a good friend of D's.)
The meet went out 3 places for events, which was kind of nice.
He did great on floor...10.9...
We are back from the travel meet, and they kind of performed like kids on vacation! They had a blast though!
He ended up 8th on floor, 6th on pommel, 3rd in rings, 5th on vault, 4th on pbars,a nd 5th aa.
Since I shared his hb last time, I thought I would again. Much better this time, btu...
This was our second meet but our first placement meet. My DD did not do well at her achievement meet and ended up in division 7 and was the only girl on her team not to medal. She was sad but decided she needed to work hard and improve. I am proud of her for all the hard work and it paid off...
Oldest dd had her first meet this weekend, she competed Trampoline on Saturday and Floor, Beam and Vault on Sunday. All I can say is WOW what an experience, she had a fantastic time despite being so far away from home - 300+ miles away.
Dd got 4th place for Trampoline - missed out on her first...
DD had a good meet today! She is Level 3. She got a 9.5 on vault - 4th place, 9.3 on bars - 5th place, 9.3 on beam - 4th place, 8.9 on floor - didn't place, 37.0 all around - 5th place. She competed old level 3 last year. This was her first 37 all around score. Darn that .1 she didn't get...
We had our first meet today. It went pretty smoothly, considering everything was new to everyone, including the judges. My DD did pretty well, with the exception of beam. She had one balance check after another. She said something about their beam being hard, but soft at the same time? LOL...
Hi,
DD is in XCel Bronze. We had a great meet this past weekend. She'd finally gotten through her bars routine without falling. Although, I know she can do even better, but she got a solid score of 9.1 and 4th place. Her vault was also pretty good - 9.05 and 3rd place. She did her floor routine...
So after a year of working towards her goal of competing Level 7, DD attended her first meet of the year, and did awesome!!!! No shoulder popping out of joint, no falls, and a little girl who is very proud of herself! :D

This has been my 4th level 8 meet this year and my best! Sorry I'm gonna brag a little.
We started on beam (my best event!!!) and I got a 9.65! Ahhhhhhhh my personal highest EVER! And I did my new dismount, round full.
Then we had floor and I did the best routine of my life and really...
So as you all know I've been very discouraged with my dd's gymnastics of late because of injuries, recruiting frustrations, and meets scores. But Saturday night everything we've been through, everything she's fought for and worked for, all came to a wonderful and glorious head. She had a solid...
For whatever reason this has felt like the longest season! Glad its over and hopefully on to bigger and better things!
Here in Missouri we had winter storm Virgil visit the day of Alex's State Meet! Thankfully we did drive up (only 2 hours) the night before but St Louis was hit with about a...
It was our state meet this weekend and DD did a fantastic job coming on 3rd AA for her division and 15 out of all of the level 6s. She didn't win any events but came in 3rd on floor with her highest score of the year, 4th on bars with another season high score, 5th on vault with her second...
So proud of dd, she went from an injury to start her season to saving the best meet for last. She was solid last night and in a very tough age group. Level 7 Vault 9.4, Bars 9.225 8th place, Beam 9.225 8th place, Floor 9.325 10th place and an AA of 37.175 9th place. Her team of 5 girls took...
