Although I am always in awe of my children, it is such a nice surprise when it's unexpected.

My little gymnast is amazing and never ceases to impress me. . . however, my 13 year old dancer started taking gymnastics this past January. I was very impressed and excited for her when she got her BHS. Something I know she always wanted to be able to do. But last night she pulls out a front tuck! Where did that come from??!! I was so excited and proud of her.

other moms keep asking me if she's going to join the USAIGC team. Which makes her feel great. But she's a dance team girl . . . maybe looking to add acro dance to her list. Not to mention middle school cheer squad.

Awesome! Brag away!!! I love the gymnast/dancer and dancer/gymnast's crossovers--the two disciplines compliment each other so well!!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
