Is an "E" skill on beam comparable to an "E" skill on floor in terms of difficulty and potential percentage of gymnasts who can compete that skill? Is an "E" dismount on bars equivalent to an "E" release move in terms of difficulty? seems like many more gymnasts can do a double layout dismount (E) than say, a counter-kim release (E).

Or asked another way, how do they determine the difficulty rating of a move across different event? Is it based on how many people could potentially do a move?

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
