Hi everyone! The club I coach at is looking to revamp our competitive program by expanding beyond optional levels. I am curious how many hours per week your club trains at for each of the following levels:
Xcel Silver
Xcel Gold
Level 6
Level 7
Level 8
Level 9
Level 10
Elite/High Performance

If your club doesn’t have all of the above levels, that’s totally fine. Just provide answers for the levels your club has in the above list. Please only provide recent information (ie, the hours your club currently trains at or what you know as of the last few years).

Your time to provide information here is much appreciated, thank you!

We currently use Xcel Bronze and Silver in place of L2/3. We may potentially be starting a full Xcel team in the near future. Below are our current hours...

Bronze = 5 hours
Silver = 9 hours
Gold and above = N/A
L4 = 14 hours
L6 = 14 hours
L7 = 18 hours
L8 = 18 hours
L9 = 18 hours
L10 = 18 hours
Elite = Currently do not do. Highest we have gone has been 27.5 hours.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
