I'm looking for some feedback from other parents who have experience with the competitive gymnastics programs at Energy Kidz and Raleigh School of Gymnastics in Raleigh, NC. My 4.5 year old daughter is interested in going the competitive gymnastics route, and I'm trying to make an informed decision about which program would be the best fit for her. We are currently at Energy Kidz and she has been invited to tryout for Jr Pre-Team.
If you’ve had any experience with either of these programs, I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
• Coaching quality
• The gym's approach to competition and training
• Overall experience and environment
• Any challenges you’ve encountered
• Anything else you think is important for a parent to know
Please feel free to share your honest opinions—I'm just trying to gather as much information as possible to make the best choice.

I grew up training at eNeRGy, though I never coached there. (Starting this summer, I'll be coaching at TRIumph, though if you're looking at eNeRGy and Raleigh School, you're probably not on that side of town.)

eNeRGy has some of the best facilities in the state. You won't find a better-equipped gym.
However, what I saw while I was there (and from what I've heard, this remains true) is that they tend to have pretty high turnover among their girls' team staff. They rarely seem to keep the same head coach for more than a few years.

Raleigh school I don't know all that well. Their gym isn't nearly as nice as eNeRGy, but most of what I hear about them is positive.
