MAG Future Stars

Well, we are off in the morning for D's future stars regionals. He is so excited. He has been working extra hard for weeks for this. This is as far as he can go, being just 9, but 2 of his teammates are shooting for nationals. Should be a fun weekend!!

Well, future stars is done for another year, at least for D. One of our team members qualified for nationals, and D managed to win his age division with a great performance today. he didn't do high bar at all, so he had to really bring it in everything else! He hit everything and was assuming he wouldn't win. He was so cute and surprised when they called his name.

He is so excited and pumped. Can't wait to see if this carries over fro a while!!

Hi, we are in Region 5, Illinois and my son, age 9 was not able to be evaulated because he did not have both giants. That was the only thing he needed (I think). Do gyms rountinly allow boys to be evaulated when they don't have all the skills?

I am not sure. There were some boys that "scratched" events. Especially at 8 or 9, where they can't go to nationals anyway. It may be different for different gyms and different states.
