Glad to hear all is well - my older dd has peeled on bars before and it can be scary - glad your dd is back at it. Hopefully your dd has learned her lesson about how to fall :) or at least how not to fall! I'm surprised it wasn't fractured if it was swollen. Our orthopedic guy says that most times when an elbow swells, it is fractured (between 2 girls we've had three broken arms - only one doing gymnastics). I'm very happy for you all that it was good news!

I've always heard the opposite about swelling and fractures. My sister broke her wrist one time roller skating and it didn't swell at all so my mom didn't believe her in how bad it was hurting. Then again I fractured my foot and it swelled up so much that it looked like a giant fake foot. It was unbelievable looking. Of course my main problem was that it was also sprained really badly.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
