So after much debate as to whether or not to compete this past weekend as L8 or L9 after only 1 week or so returning from injury, I must say it probably didn't matter but glad she went L8.
Bars went ok. She did an average L8 routine and ended up placing 2nd. scored mid 8's I think
Beam-warmed up well. kept L9 switch leap back tuck in ( took deduction) and stuck it but fell twice on other things!
floor- oh boy! You could tell she hadn't tumbled due to injury, she basically missed all three passes!
vault- has had a mental block since returning and wasn't able to flip yuerchenko.

It can only go up from here and five weeks until next meet. Let's pray she's stays healthy and motivated!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
