Every gymnast that has a skill named after them, it's always their last name. Simone Biles has a couple of skills named after her. The Biles and the Biles II. Why can't a gymnast choose the name of their skill? Simone could have named one of her skills the Simone. If I created a move, I would want to name it something cool, like the Twisty Skittle. Or maybe even name it after one of my cats, like Buffalo. Does anyone know if the gymnast can choose what the skill is called, or if it is automatically going to be their last name?

Actually the lack of consistency in skill naming has been brought up recently in regards to Chinese athletes and the seeming lack of consultation to list the athletes in a culturally correct way. Then you have the issue with Nellie Kim's name suddenly popping up next to a bunch of skills a few years ago, when multiple other gymnasts from the past have not received credit.
