I am the mom of an 8-year-old gymnast who just competed Level 3 this season.

To be honest, this is not the sport I wanted for her. This is the sport she chose for herself, and after some soul-searching my husband and I decided to let her keep doing it until she is ready to move on to something else.

I am joining to try and understand the sport better. My daughter is only 8... I want to be able to speak her language so we can stay close.
