Parents HOPES age rules

I'm trying to understand the age rules for HOPES gymnasts. My daughter is going to be 11 prior to the HOPES Challenge this year, however she will be 12 before the end of this calendar year - so, will she compete with the 10-11 yr olds or the 12-13 year olds?

She will compete in the 12-13 age division. You probably already know that by now. The qualifiers are listed on the USAG website. My daughter will be starting next year, she qualified compulsories for the experience but is still working on her optional skills.

In elite/hopes/tops, you always compete the age you are on December 31 of that year.
