Ok some of you may remember that about 9 months ago i was having serious issues with the front sault dismount and was dead terrified and would stand on the beam for half and hour before 1) stepping down 2) doing a straight jump or 3) on the rare occasion a front sault after much coaxing from my coach which would lead to another 30 mins of standing on the beam preparing for dismount. Anyway we stopped working them because i didn't need to compete it.
So yesterday i started working front sault dismounts again, sure enough i found myself standing there thinking, over thinking, freaking out but i finally go and front sault after which i think my coach gave me the best advice i have ever got in the sport
"Don't stand there thinking, just do it!"
