I am having mcl irritation so I have been wearing a knee sleeve during practice. Am I allowed to wear this at my competition this weekend? It has a logo on the front but I might be able to take it off if necessary.

That's usually up to the gym. I've worn a knee sleeve before (in Xcel Silver and Gold) with no deduction and it was black with a white and gold logo. If your doctor/PT/whoever is a medical professional has said to wear it then I would wear it and not worry about the deductions if there are any.

I have never heard of a judge deducting for a brace/sleeve for no reason except theyre wearing one. I just dont see any reason to, because if someone is post-injury and is required a brace to compete, the judges cant do anything. I have really horrible joints and have worn so many braces for meets and never gotten a deduction for it (only when my knee strap slid off during my floor, but thats different- still only 1-2 tenths, nothing horrible) I have worn knee, elbow, ankle, wrist, even back braces and no ones said anything to me. My regionals meet last year I wore a brace on literally every joint it looked stupid, and got a 9.9 beam and 9.725 floor. Some gyms might not allow colored braces that dont match leotards, so I would check in with your Coach. But if your gym does not allow that, it has nothing to do with USAG/IGC (idk where you are) rules.
