Gymnasts Leotard for team tryout?

I own 3 leotards, one is plain blue, one is a leotard from my old gym, and the 3rd is the dark elegance from gk. I told my mom I wanted to wear the 3rd one, but she thinks I should wear the 1st one. My mom is a former ballet dancer, and they were strict about wearing plain outfis only. I'm not sure artistic gymnastics I'd like that as much though. What are the thoughts on this?

I'm almost fairly sure they won't be deciding who makes team based on what you're wearing. Wear whatever makes you feel best

Agree that it probably won’t matter, but I would go for the third one. I wouldn’t wear a leo from another gym unless it was a meet or camp leo. In my experience, gymnastics isn’t like dance where plain leotards are preferred. That being said, make sure you wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. Good luck!
