You are allowed to compete one "C" acro skill in 8, so you can do a front full.

For the other two passes, you have to do a pass of two connected saltos (they can be in the same or different directions/skils, and they only have to be "A's" ("B" are optional in a two salto pass with 3 passes). And for the last pass, it has to be a "B". (these are the minimum to get no composition deductions)

the most common examples are:

front step out to r(bh) back salto (2 salto pass)
front salto to front salto (2 salto pass)
roundoff whip back salto (2 salto pass)
Front pike ("B")
Front layout ("B")
Front half ("B")
Back half? ("B")
Back full ("B")

Lastly, a switch ring is a "C", which you can do as many "C" dance elements in 8 as you want.

Hope this helps!

For no deduction in a 3-pass routine, a 2 salto pass with 2 A saltos has to be directly connected, so "front step out to r(bh) back salto (2 salto pass)" would need the front to be pike or lay OR the back would need to be a half? or a full.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
