A "standard" 10.0 Level 9 routine has a BHS BLO, a side aerial, a RO full dismount, and turns and jumps. I competed a BHS BHS in level 9 due to injury, and it truly does not damage your score that much. (-0.1 for composition, -0.1 for missed bonus) A side aerial round-off is also a good series with no deductions, but its a lot harder to get connection credit. I say work on a BHS BLO, but keep doing BHS BHS if you need to compete it. A BHS BHS, side aerial, RO full dismount, full turn, and C+C leap/jump series (ex: switch leap + switch leap) would give you a 9.9 SV and -0.1 composition. I started with a 9.9 SV and -0.15 in compostion and still consistently scored ~9.45s, so being clean with your skills is more important than connections!
