So, our team is competing in this meet this weekend in Minneapolis and it is a very fun meet! Our 9s and 10s competed last night (both coming in 2nd as levels). Then the team as a whole got 3rd and got to compete tonight with the college meet (Minnesota, Iowa and SUNY-Brockport). What a blast! Just to see the college meet with the JO meet was very fun. Our guys did great, had fun, and just had an amazing experience. The meet was not huge, but the guys loved it!

D competes tomorrow. I can't wait to see what it is like at his level!

We went to a college meet that was run in conjunction with a JO meet a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. After the meet, my son looked at me very seriously and said he fully intends to make it to the college level because it looks so cool. Congrats to your 9s and 10s, and good luck to your little guy! I hope he has another terrific meet -- he's been having such a wonderful season so far.

Meet went well. This was a really fun meet The boys just had a blast at all levels! The organizers were really nice, as were the parents, kids, coaches, etc. Well run meet for a good cause!

Derek had a good meet. I guess he was nervous, which I have never seen before! Usually he is so loose. P's and rings were rough, but the rest was good. P's was 14.7, high bar 14.8(2nd), FLoor 15.1 (1st), pommel 15.6 (1st), rings 14.2, vault 14.9 (4th). AA 89.3 (2nd). Not too shabby, but I could see where nerves, and not being in the gym for 4 days, got to him. (new videos up on you tube.)

Fun trip, but we are ready to go home!!
