Men My little guy won his first medal this weekend!

I posted a couple of weeks ago about my 6yo, who is in his first year of competing. He had a really rough first meet, but he has made so much improvement during the past few meets. He was so thrilled to get to stand up there on the podium, and I cannot describe how proud I am of him. I'd say the biggest thing he has learned so far this year is how to deal with disappointment, so it was great to see him get to experience something different this time.

Congratulations! My daughter didn't win her first medal until pretty far into her first season. I remember very well how thrilled she was!
