It's still early for my season, but I'm curious if this would work as a platinum bar routine:
Kip, cast, back hip circle, cast above horizontal, free/clear hip, cast squat on, kip to high bar, cast away, tuck fly away?

Also, do I need the back hip circle? I feel like I've seen bar routines without it, but would I still have enough skills?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

In this case, you do not need a back hip circle. A clear hip fills the "b" requirement and circling skill im pretty sure. correct me if I'm wrong, fellow chalk-bucket-ers!

My dd's platinum routine was kip, cast above horizontal, clear hip, kip, squat on jump to high bar, kip, cast, tuck fly away. So I don't think that you need the back hip circle. She always had a 10.0 SV.

Ok awesome! Thank you!!

I'm pretty sure you don't need the backhipcircle. At my old gym most of the Platinums did a Kip cast above horizontal, free-hip, push away kip, squat on and then taps wings and a flyway

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
