Can you do standing backhandspring? Standing 2 backhandsprings?

Imo, the best way to improve power in back tumbling is to do rows and rows and rows of three backhandsprings from stand, focusing primarily on making them stretch out as long as possible. The longer they are, the more powerful they'll be.

A lot of people at my gym struggle with hurdling. If you can get a really good hurdle, you will have a powerful round off and a powerful bhs and so on. Remember to snap your feet down out of the round off and block off your hands using your shoulders. Do the same in your bhs. Work on exercises for power and you should be good!

Thanks! For a while my hurdle wasn’t stretched out and my arms weren’t at my ears, I feel like wider tumbling makes powerful tumbling.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
