My 4 y.o. competes USAIGC copper. Over Mother's Day weekend she had her last meet of the season and finally received the score that would qualify her for states. In the 4-6 age group she won first on floor and beam and first all around. What a way to finish up the year. I am so proud of her! Hopefully her 6's and 7's will be 7's and 8's next year. :D She loves gym and tries very hard to keep up with the older girls in her group.

new here and still trying to figure out how to share some video...

Wow thats one awesome 4 year old! @ 4 my DD (heck any of my kids) were not even close to being able to learn a routine/compete one...

GL to your DD!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
