I've been reading here for a while (great advice and information!) but I decided I would finally introduce myself. I'm Lindsay, a married mom to 2 gymnasts and software project manager.
ODD is 8 and is on the rec league silver team. She wanted to do competition team, but didn't get the invite, so she decided rec league would be just as much fun! I was so relieved when she took the news so well (her little sister got invited and she didn't....2 years in a row!).
YDD (is that the right acronym) is 7 and is on the pre-pre-team. This is our first year in the team environment and it's definitely a learning experience for all of us! I know that if she sticks with it, it's only going to get harder (and more rewarding) from here on out and we are looking forward to the journey!
