If you are using a step down technique (one foot at a time) on a toe hand, when are you supposed to put your first foot on the bar? In handstand? At horizontal (coming down from a cast handstand of course)? I'm still a bit confused about the timing of it, which is making my toe hands look like actual trash. Thanks in advance!

I prefer to put my foot down as I’m coming down from the handstand. Makes it fluid, plus my legs are short and would struggle to reach the bar from a locked out handstand.

First foot at about 3 on the clock, second foot at 6.
