Off Topic Virginia Beach area?

Is anyone familiar with the Virginia Beach area? DD is competing at Excallibur and we were thinking about doing her 14th birthday celebration while we're there. Anyone have any suggestions? Fun restaurants? Other potentially cool teen birthday hotspots? TIA!

Virginia aquarium is right there. Williamsburg is about an hour away. Lots of other stuff. What does she enjoy?

I grew up there
Tons to do, there is a little downtown area, pF Chang's is always a good pick or Cheesecake Factory.

Yeah, aquarium is on our "to do" list regardless. And those are perfect restaurant suggestions!

i enjoyed excalibur very much last year (dd's first year of competing). not going this year with the new gym, though. in fact, we aren't doing any big meets this year which is kinda disappointing. anyway....have fun and happy birthday to her!
