Parents 1st meet of the season tomorrow...Gym momma nerves!

Wow! That came up quickly!! DD has her first meet of the season tomorrow! I swear I get more nervous than she does I doubt that will ever change.

And I'll be more than happy when she is done with that darn mill circle! The only skill that still is on again/off again...First 1/2 of meets at a 3 and second 1/2 (following states) moving to 4-- she's ready!


I can't wait to watch all the girlies tomorrow and see all of their hard work pay off!!!

Yes! We actually call it a stride circle in our area, but I most often hear it called mill circle here!

Honestly it really is the only skill that is hit or miss at this point and she has all level 4 skills. Coach may even let her do kip up onto the bar instead of the pull up...

DD took 1st place all around, 2nd on beam and bars, 1st on vault and floor!!!

My DD started at L3 and is now a L8. The nerves don't go away and in my opinion, they shouldn't. It is natural I think because we want to see our little girls do well.

She did compete the kip!! Still not completely straight-armed but she got over the bar! And she was one of only a couple that even attempted it so I'm glad she got that first out of the way this meet too!!
