    Skip six!

HI! I'm of to Flip Fest in a week and need some positive vibes! I competed 5 last year but am aiming to skip six and go straight to seven! I need to do a giant on double bars and back hand spring on high beam! Does any one have any drills that will help? Wish me luck!:p

    Skipping levels?

Is it possible for a compulsory USAG gymnast to skip a level? I am already 14, but I love gymnastics dearly, and I want to maximize my experience before I have to leave. I competed well at L4 last year, at 13 years old, scoring something like 36.5 AA at state last year. I scored 8.5 and above...

    Coaches skipping level 6?

Hi. My daughter just left her Y program to compete with a private club. She is 8 years old. She did really great at the Y and loves gymnastics! Her new coach has said that she should probably just compete 1 meet as a 6 and move to a 7. She has all of her 6 skills-not all pretty (clear hip...

    Coaches Skipping Levels

I'm not sure if this is the correct board, but as this question is sort of addressed to coaches, I'll ask it here. I am pretty new to the world of gymnastics but I've been doing some online looking and have joined some message boards and groups and asked a couple of questions and am running...
