1st level 8 meet of the season

DD had her first Level 8 meet of the season (she is a second year Level 8) this past weekend. She did a great job!!

She had put a ton of pressure on herself about qualifing to State at the first meet ugh!! She needed and AA 33.5. Well she did it she got a AA 34

Yippee and she got the bes floor score she has gotten in years 9.05 and these judge were not giving floor scores away.

I was very proud of her. She was angry because she did not connect her seriese on beam. I am sure she wont miss it again this year because that is just the way she is.

Bars was a personal victory for her even though the score is low it was the highest she got on bars all last year

Beam 8.15 no connection
Floor 9.05
AA 34

Sounds like a great start to yhe season !!!!! Glad she was able to meet her goal of making States on the first meet of the season. Great job on improving bars & floor too.
