This maybe more of a question for coaches.

When there are large age gaps, do the coaches take that into consideration when teaching new skills and drills? Or do you think they expected all of the girls to get it and remember it at the same pace?

My daughter is 4 and there are girls as old as 7 or 8 in her class. Skill wise, she keeps up but i definitely notice things need to be explained more to her, which is expected for her age. Just not sure if it annoys the coaches.

Note, they haven't said anything negative about it. They are actually impressed with how she's keeping up

Gymnastics coaches are teachers and any teacher should understand that 4-year-olds and 8-year-olds learn differently.
