Last night DD was very excited as she told me she now officially "has" her aerial and back tuck on the high beam.
On Monday she had been doing them on the road and low beam with the gymnova mat and went down to a yoga mat and then no mat. She must have been in the right mindset as next thing I know she went through the same progressions on the medium beam.
Well I guess she spent the rest of the week on these on the high beam as she told me yesterday she was allowed to mark it off her bonus skill list. I did not realize the rule for new skills was that you had to stick it five times three days in a row to count.
I am so happy for her as she was having down days not being able to do any tumbling, bars, vault etc. while she recovers from her tendonitis in her elbow. It was so nice so see her excited and feeling like she can still get new skills while recovering.
Now I am just worried ....how many other moves is she going to try with no arms!?!
