Hi, I really can't seem to be able to kickover after I go into a back arch from standing. Does anyone have any tips to try to kick over? I know it might seem very simple but it really isn't for me! Thank you:) :D

Do you have flexibility issues? This skill will be a lot easier if your shoulders and back are flexible and your stomach is strong.

As you're kicking over, think about pulling your shoulders over at the same time. Meaning if you are in a bridge and your shoulders are open to a particular wall of the gym, when you kick your leg over, aim your foot and pull your shoulders to that wall. This will help get your body working together.

Start by practising kickovers with your feet on a raised surface, such as a stack of mats. Then keep practicing, gradually lowering the height until eventually you can do it with your feet at ground level. This technique worked for my DD.
