Who's with me?? This is the most stressful meet of the season for any level 9 or 10, it's do or die! I'm not even competing and I feel like I could throw up and my stress levels are through the roof... Sunday can not come quick enough! 2 more practices before we leave..

Why does she have to be the last session of Regionals at the end of the day on Sunday??? Top 6, top 6... and the praying continues! :)

Best of luck (not that luck has anything to do with it! She has DEF. worked hard!! ) I hope she has a great meet and hits 4 for 4!!

Thanks profmom and good luck to your dd too justanothergymmom! I feel like I am wishing my life away... I can't wait for this weekend to be over with! Ha-ha...

Oh thank heavens! I thought it was just me. It's her first Level 9 regionals and she had to be petitioned in because she injured herself right before states. She just got cleared to compete so she's working really hard at catching up on all the skills she hasn't been able to do for four weeks. I'll be so glad when this weekend is over.

Good Luck!!!! I hope she hits her routines and makes that top 6!!!

I hope that you survive the weekend :)

Good luck to your DD and to any other gymnasts competing this weekend! Safe travels as well.

My good luck wishes as well to the level 9's going this weekend and the Level 8's next weekend (where I will be). Please everyone travel safely and get plenty of rest.

Good luck to all of the girls at Regionals... And an extra good luck to any girls from Region 1 as they compete in Vegas. May the gym floor and the casinos be kind :p

Good luck to all of the girls going to Regionals. I so look forward to the day that my DD makes it to regionals. She is only L5 so we have a little while to wait.

To ARKGYMOM -

Consider yourself (and your bank account) lucky for the time you have and can live stress-free. The Optional levels can be very, very draining on the bank account. Sometimes we find ourselves fondly remembering the days of compulsory training (3 days a week for 2.5 hours each day) and compulsory meets (drive across town). Now at level 8 going to 9 she trains six days a week for about 4 hours each day and the meets are across the country. Enjoy the time now but go forward with your eyes wide open for what is to come.

Of course my dd is on her Easter Break from school and returns to school on Monday, 4/16. Guess what? She won't be there! Her Regional meet is on Sunday with a report time of 3:30ish and it's a 6 hour drive home! I can't believe all of the days she has had off and she's going to have to miss Monday too and I'm going to have to take off work! Hopefully we will have something good to talk about on the way home... ;)

I'm with you! My stress isn't too high yet--my daughter doesn't compete until next weekend (20th). She's 13th going in to it and 12 move on to Westerns, so she needs to hit all four events. I keep that stress to myself--she gets enough from her coaches and doesn't need it from me too!

Good luck to your daughter! Can't wait to hear how she does. We're luck here--mine competes the Friday evening of our Regionals, so no waiting!

Good luck to her!! Hope she hits it all and is happy with how she does.

Hey! Good luck to all at regionals....can't wait to hear all the glowing reports!
