WAG Links to well performed floor routines?

I wouldn't necessarily say my dd's routine is well performed, but here is a really good angle of her floor routine from 2016, level 7. It got her to regionals that year...so I guess it was good enough...lol!

WAG Skipping levels 4 AND 5?

My daughter did that a few years ago. She went from lv 3 to lv 6. She scored out of lv 4 and 5 at one in house score out meet. It was a tough jump but it can be done.

    WAG Ozone leos

IMO, they run narrow. My dd is an older girl, but carries her length in her torso so they fit her well. So, I would agree with you, if the girls have any curves, it might fit different. My big girl is pretty much curve-less!

My dd wears the same size in ozone as GK

    WAG Magical Classic

If it’s at ESPN WWOS, the entry to the event is pretty pricey! Just a heads up.

    WAG Level 9 floor question

My dd did a switch leap, split full. I have no clue if it’s worth anything or not...clueless Mom here!

WAG Moving from Texas to Tennessee

Hey! That’s me! :);):);) I’m a Tennessee girl! But I’m in Chattanooga. There are a lot of great gyms in the Nashville area! You can message me if you would like to talk more about it!

    WAG Optional Bars Question

Oh, gosh no! Lv 9 is a totally different ballgame! My point was that those were the 2 years that my generally solid scoring bar gymnast scored lower. There were many factors that contributed to those lower scores. Personally, I feel that both are big transition years!

    WAG Optional Bars Question

My experience, for what it’s worth, is that your dd will get dinged significantly if her cast handstands are not to hs (or really close to hs). In my opinion, lv 6 bars scored as tough as lv 9 bars. My dd is a bars girl, but her two lowest scoring seasons were lv 6 and lv 9. Level 6 video...

WAG Repeating a level or moving on

Level 9 is a whole new ballgame! My dd is a 1st year lv 9 as well and boy, it’s tough. She missed nearly every meet last year in lv 8 due to an early injury. My dd has never had scores these low, but it’s not her, it’s across the board, generally speaking. Our goal is to have a healthy, safe...

    WAG Wrist issues (again)

My dd used tiger paws on beam (vault and floor). She has for several years after her wrist injury (overuse...yurchenko training). It takes a little time to get used to them, but she hasn’t had any issues with them being too bulky.

WAG What would decertification mean for us?

I totally agree! My guess is that they will eventually be forced to file bankruptcy. The group will renamed. We will all be competing under a different name next year...

WAG Training while not weight-bearing on foot

It was crazy to see how out of alignment her hips were. Like, by 2 inches or more. I noticed it when she was tumbling on beam! She kept falling off to the same side every time. The chiropractor took pictures to show how bad it was. My dd felt an immediate difference. I don’t think she realized...

WAG Training while not weight-bearing on foot

Yes!!! My DD’s leg was so much smaller just after 8 weeks! It does take time!

WAG Training while not weight-bearing on foot

So true!! Our gym was incredibly supportive of my dd. During competitions, they had her out in the floor with the team! They always had a rotating conditioning list to keep her in the best shape possible! We were blessed, for sure!
