Parents, coaches and owners of east cost Aussie gyms - how are your gyms holding up? My daughter’s gym is fine - it’s in an elevated part of Sydney. But it has been devastating to see what has happened to other gyms - especially on the backs of two lengthy lockdowns in two years for some of them, and the lack of availability of flood insurance in some areas.

Hoping to here mostly good news in this thread, but I guess it is an opportunity for heavily affected gyms to mention their gofundmes (if that is allowed). I worry that this will be one disaster too many for some businesses.

This has been a situation like we have never seen before. QLD has been flooding since last Friday, and no signs of slowing. The damage is devastating everywhere.

We are okay, due to where our gym/home is located. But this is the most significant disaster we have experienced in our lifetimes, and its not even close to slowing.
