My coach has a drill for this where (on a trampoline/ tumble track) you do a seat drop, bounce back to feet, and straight away into a back handspring. It's a bit hard to explain, but works well!
At my gym, we have something called Rec Gym (short for recreational gymnastics). You can do it at any age but it doesn't require you to compete, and the coach lets you work at your own skill level. Im not in it, i compete lvl 5, but lots of the coaches and past gymnasts do it.

I feel like so many of us have been in that situation. Sometimes I feel like I'm really bad and I'll never get a skill, but then, a few days later, I feel more confident and willing to try.

It's also important to consider how long it actually is before they go to bed though, if you want to have a shower, eat dinner, etc after you get home. If you are going to bed at 10pm, then waking up at 7am, and then doing it all again the next day, that could be heavy.
