    Women Regions judging opinions

I guess i can start a bit even though i don't really know what regions are what from the top of my head. I have heard that Florida tends to give out a lot of high scores. We did do a meet in Tennessee once and saw some very questionable scores, super high scores with obvious errors. Been in...

    Women Regions judging opinions

While reading a post about regions, i came across something that i see pop up quite often so i thought i would take a poll and see what others have to day. What regions do you think judging seems to be hardest to easiest? Lots of 38's or hard to get 38's or 10's...

Mymeetscores is always missing random scores and i can't figure out how to have them add them. One of my daughters highest bar scores is missing. Anyone know how to remedy the issue? It was from her State meet too which is important..

    NCAA NCAA Women's Regionals

Oh yes that is what i meant that the judges for sure take the deductions. The judging becomes even more apparent when at state and regionals where you see the scores the judges give and see how off some of the judging can be. If dropping the high score and low score of the 4 judges, you should...

    NCAA NCAA Women's Regionals

It can be frustrating especially knowing that level 10's get scored WAY more harsh than NCAA D1 athletes!

    Parents Finish Times (Late Workouts)

In our area high school starts at 7:20 a.m.! ( and some jr and elementary ) Most gyms start their higher levels at 1-2:30 pm depending on the gym. My kiddo goes from 1-6 mon-fri and its still difficult to get home, eat, shower, do homework and get to bed before 11. Its like walking a tight rope!

NCAA NCAA athletes who don't compete

The ruling is in about two weeks right? So we will soon find out, although I don't think we will technically find out what this really will do until a year or two down the road. Hopefully there will be a thread on here to discuss!

NCAA NCAA athletes who don't compete

Correct, and some are still recruiting walk-ons... As i shared above they do not have to give out money to ALL of their roster.

NCAA NCAA athletes who don't compete

I sense a bit of bite in your comment, but could just be the way i am reading it. My kiddo is in the recruiting process and has had convos with both SEC, BIG12, and BIG10 coaches and all have said that they will not be giving out full 20 scholarships as well as not having 20 on their roster. I...

It is this way. I'm not sure why anyone has interpreted it as every girl on the team ( 20 ) will be on scholarships. Just as you said they can use the money how they see fit between te 20 roster spots. Also some teams will not keep 20, as they never have.

    Parents DP Regionals

They don't do that in our region, but they could in others. The only level that competes as a "state team" in our region is level 8.
