    Tiger Paws aren't working

Hello. I know this is an old post but I wanted to ask you a couple of question. I have to buy my 10 year old daughter wrist supports due to a radial wrist fracture that just healed. Does your daughter wear a brace on one hand only? Does she only need it for beam or does she also wear for...

    competition leotard prices...

Wow! The no complaining rule is so funny. I understand that they do not want you to complain and gossip with other parents in the waiting room of the gym. But if it is your personal FB account and you need to vent, you should be allowed to with your friends and family. Just my opinion. I...

Congratulations! Keep up the good work! :) It is very nice when everything they have learned in the gym clicks and they carry over their skills to the competition!

    Monsoon Madness 2011!

Our first level 4-6 meet is over! It was a good meet to start the season. Overall the kids did pretty well. The meet went smoothly and ended on time. That is always a bonus! The kids loved their souvenir gift. It was a cool red tumbler cup with a straw. My daughter has always wanted one so...

    Kip!

Congratulations! A kip is not an easy skill to learn, so be very proud of your progress. It can take some gymnasts months to a year to gain that skill. Forget trying to perform it with straight arms! Good job! Keep practicing and having fun!

    Hi.

Thanks! My little boy is only 4 years old so I have no idea what to expect. I don't think he is even in a level! LOL I am from Arizona too!!! I live in Mesa. I will definitely be asking you questions, if you don't mind. What a great forum!

    Need to repeat Level 5?

I agree with you. Why do coaches want kids to memorize a Level 5 routine while training for Level 6 skills. I don't understand this.

What is the purpose of having a child compete LEVEL 4 because LEVEL 5 KIP is missing!

Is is normal for a gym to still hold back a child from competing Level 5 because their kip isn't "good?" I think not having straight arms or something like that. Should they compete Level 4 because of that?

    Hi.

Hello. I am new to Chalk Bucket so I am a little shy. I am not sure how much to share or not share. I have a 9 year old daughter and a 4 year old son in gymnastics. They both love it! It's a good way to focus all their energy! I am looking forward to asking questions and obtaining answers...
