Our first level 4-6 meet is over! It was a good meet to start the season. Overall the kids did pretty well. The meet went smoothly and ended on time. That is always a bonus! The kids loved their souvenir gift. It was a cool red tumbler cup with a straw. My daughter has always wanted one so she can be like her mom!
My DD did very well on beam and floor. The only thing that bummed her out, was the fact that she messed up on bars. Her legs hit the bar during her attempt of her first kip on the low bar. But she continued with the routine, did her squat on to the high bar and completed that kip. She placed 4th in beam and 5th on floor. 7th overall.
We were a little confused with the Level 5 age groups. On paper my daughter was in the 9-11 group, but in the awards she was in the 7-9 group. I guess it was a numbers game. Congratulations to all the girls at this meet!
