    Parents Advice Needed :)

I don’t post regularly on here and my dd is done with gymnastics but I stop by every so often and I’ve read this whole thread and Just had to post. For what it’s worth as one parent to another, gymnastics aside, I think it would be a good idea for you and your husband to have a chat with your...

    Parents At a loss...

An 8 year old level 7 has time on her side to have mental blocks. She is amazing just to have achieved that at her age!

Parents gym move and leaving friends

If she's younger, all of the above as you have to take charge of decisions like that for her. If she's older, I do think that the decision still lies with you but it's much harder to deal with. WAG Flyaway Fear

Did she grow at all? That can throw them right off . Maybe just don't talk about anything to do with it at all and if she wants to talk, just be very casual and say something like you' re sure she'll get it back soon, it happens to many gymnasts.

Parents New Level 9 wants to quit

I hope you and your dd get it worked out. My teen isn't at that level but it's still a nightmare trying to make decisions with her, as she changes her mind and gets emotional in a heartbeat. Good luck!

It's an awkward situation that I'm really not comfortable with.

    Parents More gym switch questions

That's one of my main problems to be honest.

    Parents More gym switch questions

She may have reached her plateau, I'm not the coach but I don't want to have rose colored glasses. But she is pretty driven and maybe that's the answer right there.

    Parents More gym switch questions

I have searched other gym switch threads but I’m still looking for opinions. Without giving too much information, my dd (teen) was early optional level and her whole group have all been put on the Xcel path this fall. They trained less hours over the summer than the “A” optionals at the same...
