Has anyone had a gymnast do this A skill? I have one working it and we can't quite figure out the arms. If anyone has a video even if it was just on floor that would be amazing.

Without looking at the rules I know certain skills in the level 2 routines can be reversed I believe that is one of them. Honestly many times I think the judges doesn't focus of which leg they use. I would suggest at least working on the other leg as it can cause small problems later on.
Any active flexibility exercises can be useful. Many can be modified for home use I like shift movement they have lots of exercises I've done with my gymnasts

I switched from ginnasta to intent this year because of that issue they are 100% customized to the gymnast. They are a but more expensive and take a little longer to break in, but I personally love them and they feel like they will last longer than my ginnasta ones. I still love ginnasta but now...
They start out a bit more stiff and need a bit more time to break in, but they should last longer. As far as use after being broke in they seem similar to ginnasta
