Hey gang,
I’m in Canada and for our boy who’s been invited to our gym’s MAG Developmental Program (Compulsory), for a total of 4-6 hours a week, it costs about 400$ a month in tuition ( like 290 USD ).
i personally find it super expensive but, he likes the sport and assuming he progresses...
Does anyone have a child on team where you are also a team coach? I don’t coach my own child anymore since she’s moved out of my group but I’m wondering if anyone who is a coach gets a break on tuition? I’m still paying full price for everything. Occasionally I’ll get a leotard from the pro shop...
I’m relatively new to the gymnastics world. DD is switching gyms. At the new gym tuition is $350/mo and the level 3s practice 9 hrs/wk. This price is substantially more than our old gym, which I understand was priced way below average. Im not sure if this is average pricing or way over priced...
I'm curious how other gyms handled this. It seems like most gyms either discounted tuition or offered zoom lessons while they were shut down. Ours did neither of these. We got our new contract and it strongly implies that if the gym closes or girls need to quarantine because of gym exposure...
I hope this is ok to ask if not Ill delete. Ive been told Im over paying lol But I was hoping to compare if some of you wouldnt mind telling me how much y'alls tuition is. Also maybe your childs level and how many hours they train? TIA
I saw another thread about gymnastics tuition and everything, but was unable to post. I'm wondering, why is everyone's tuition so high for not so many hours?
Ours starts at $160 for 9 hours (this is team). The next level is $165 for 12 hours. Then $170 for 15. I go for 20 hours and this costs...
Can I ask what you pay for monthly tuition? I have always wondered if my gym is overpriced compared to others. My daughters go 16 hours a week and we pay $400 for the first child and we get a 10% sibling discount on the other so that is another $360. Are we being ripped off or is this normal?
I know this is hard to talk about, ad maybe gym owners can provide insight as to why I feel like every year I hear the same thing (at 2/3 gyms we are at/have been at - old gym (WAG/MAG/TNT), new TNT gym, not new WAG gym)
SO you are at the annual team meeting with the gym or studio owner and...
What level is your dd, how many hours do they go a week and what are the fees? Also, how much is the competitive leo (not including warm-up)?
My 8 year old is working on level 5 skills (competed level 4 last year). We don't know what level they will compete next season until September. She goes...
For those of you who don't mind sharing: I would love to hear what others pay in monthly gym tuition, what level you child is and how many hours a week they train. Thanks!!!
We had a family on my ds's team that wanted their L4 son to take a month off...not going anywhere, not in any other activities, just wanting to take the month off for summer. In fact, his two brothers are still taking classes at the gym, just not on team. I think they were just trying to not pay...
