Well, with a sigh of relief and a bit of sadness, the season is now officially over. Our first regionals was a positive experience. DD medaled on beam, placing 2nd with a 9.150. :DPlaced 6th AA with a 35.025. :DMedals were given out to 10th place and she missed the others by one or two places. All in all is was a wonderful weekend, friends came to cheer her on and support and she felt very special. Now she is training level 9 and looking forward to next year!

Congrats to her!! Sounds like she'll do great next year in level 9.

Wow, getting to regionals and doing so well. Nice job! Good luck in Level 9

Sounds like a great way to end the season. Not only qualifying to regionals but coming away with two medals. Congratulations.

That's awesome! I'm glad it was such a terrific experience for her. :)

What a great showing at regionals! 2nd on beam! 6h AA wow. She should be very proud of her accomplishments!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
