What do you guys do for flexibility training?

Just splits/oversplits or specific stretching?
 
omg! I have so many favorite flexibility stretches so I'll just tell ya a few:-)

1. have them stand on a balance beam with their feet shoulder width apart and then stretch down with straight legs and hold it for a minute

and then

have them stand with their feet together and stretch down with with straight legs. I usually do both stances 2x.



2. Have them sit by a low beam and put heels on the beam and pike stretch their hands to the other side of the beam with nose to knees. 1-2 minutes and then have them back up and put feet flat against beam and reach forward once again.

3. Splits and over splits with hands in air

4. also straddle/splits on wall,laying on back, with butt up against the wall and legs go down as far as possible (sorry that was confusing). hold for 2-3minutes and then have them push up on elbows and keep legs straight (and butt on wall) and push belly up to wall while in 'middle wall splits'
