Does anyone have experience with or have relatives with asthma involved in gymnastics? Because I'm thinking I have exercise induces asthma but i am not sure. I have noticed this for awhile and told my mother but nothing has been done. My floor routines are pretty much horrible because i get so out of breathe about after my first tumbling pass. Actually in my level 6 routine i was so tired on my last pass i felt like i was going to puke and my backtuck was veerry low. Also at school after walking up one story of stairs i am panting. But what do gymasts with asthma do? Do they just use their inhaler whenever?

Well, first I would say you should really get checked by a doctor and see what he says. You might also be anemic, I know whenever my iron levels get too low, I can't walk up the stairs without panting and my legs ache terribly. Really, have your mom make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. Good luck.

You see a doctor to get a complete physical and find out what is causing the fatigue. Then go from there.
